Start the weekend off on Friday evening June 9, 2023, with a pre-event party at the historic Manor House located on the Shenandoah Resort Property. Mingle with our distinguished guests while enjoying food, cocktails, and conversations surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rich history, and mysterious folklore.

Following the party, join Psychic Medium Tim Shaw for a candlelight gallery reading in the outdoor amphitheater located in the woods surrounding the resort. Food is included with your ticket, a cash bar will also be available.

Saturday morning we will transport you back in time. Travel to Sailor's (or Saylor's depending on who you talk to) Creek Battlefield and Appomattox where you will relive the historic 72 hours that led to the surrender of General Lee's Army of Northern Virginia to General Grant and his Army of the Potomac. Hear the accounts and stories of the soldiers that fought and died during the last days of the war, and stand in the exact spot where they left their hearts, souls...and blood. You may even have the chance to communicate with the soldiers themselves, audio recorders are welcome. Listen to the personal stories of the Klinge Brothers as they share tales of their direct ancestors who were present during these crucial battles. Breakfast and lunch are included in your ticket price.

After we return from the battlefields, join our guests for a private dinner at the haunted 1837 Tavern on the Rail restaurant. This general store-turned tavern has 185 years of history with direct ties to the Civil War. Enjoy delicious food served in an intimate setting while soaking in the rich history. Jason Hawes will give a talk and Q & A while you enjoy your homemade dessert. A cash bar will also be available for your spirits of choice. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to investigate the restaurant and grounds. Dinner is included in your ticket price.
